A lively day out for pawrents and their pets returns this February as SAFRA brings back its annual pet-friendly celebration, Buddies Day Out. Designed to strengthen the bond between pets and their owners, the event blends play, learning and community with a lineup of interactive games, agility challenges, contests and pet welfare talks.
Happening at the open-air grounds of OCBC Square, the space transforms into a welcoming playground for pets of all sizes. Expect everything from agility runs and temptation trials to fun photo moments and themed contests, alongside educational sharing sessions for more confident and informed pet ownership.
Whether you are joining the competitions or simply stopping by for a casual outing with your furkid, Buddies Day Out offers an easygoing weekend hangout for the local pet community.
What to Expect
Games & Activities for Everyone
Even non-registered visitors can join in the fun. Pick up a Buddies Game Card and complete simple pet-friendly stations around the square to earn a spin and small tokens. There is also a Telegram-based Total Defence-themed hunt for those who enjoy interactive challenges.
Agility & Friendly Competitions
For more active pups, sign-ups are available for agility trials and competitions held in partnership with Singapore Dog Agility. Crowd favourites like the Temptation Trial and Best Dressed Contest also return, adding a playful and festive touch to the day.
Pet Welfare & Learning
Pet first aid sharing sessions conducted by the Singapore Red Cross provide practical tips for handling common emergencies, giving pawrents extra peace of mind.
Goodie Bags
Registered participants will receive an event-themed goodie bag with exclusive merchandise.
